Office Space a comedy film directed by Mike Judge. The film follows Peter Gibbons, a very unhappy individual that is a programmer at a software company Initech. He absolutely hates his job. Especially his boss Bill Lumbergh who micro manages everyone who works for him. Peter's mind resets when he goes to a hypnotherapy session and his therapist dies of a heart attack. Peter's attitude changes and stops caring less in life, but more so at his job. This leads to his life becoming more positive and we see that his mental state is much better. Peter ends up getting a promotion at his job, but his two buddies (Michael Boltmon and Samir Nagheenanajar) that work with him are on the verge of getting fired. All three come up with a plan to embezzle money from Initech with a software computer virus. Peter was more so onto this than the two others because the risk wasn't worth the outcome in their minds. They successfully embezzle money, but it didn't go as planned. The check from the embezzled money was well over $200,000. They thought that they had to give up and turn in the evidence. At night Peter returns the check and slides it under Lumbergh's office door. Thinking they were going to jail the next day, the evidence was destroyed as one of the frustrated employees that got moved down to the basement of Initech set the whole building on fire.
